Fever is back! a little over 102. Pain along ribs is up to about an 8. They are drawing labs and starting IV antibiotics ( I forgot the name but not the same as in Pittsburgh.) BUMMER we had the PICC line pulled-but how would ya know. She is resting pretty well, might be the combo of morphine and a fever but I am still thankful she seems comfortable at the moment. They aren't giving her tylenol because it's bad for the liver and she can't have advil because it's bad for the kidneys! Based on the noises coming from her belly, she will be ready for breakfast soon. Now hopefully, they won't decide to do something where she will have to go NPO (basically, nothing by mouth) or that might just be the limit. :)
Hopefully the labs will show something or the antibiotics will destroy whatever is in there causing the trouble and Mikaela will start to feel better sooner then later. WHAT A TROOPER she is being, as always.
