Mikaela slept in until 11 this morning. I guess she had a bit of trouble sleeping after her 1 o'clock am lab draw and was up until about 3 but then she slept great. When she woke up she felt pretty good compared to the last few days. Still some pain in her belly and head but only about a 4-6 throughout the day. We painted, walked around, gave each other pedicures and some other fun stuff. NO pokes, picks or procedures! Mikey brought in dinner and visited for awhile. We found out that Shelbie can come up for a visit! Who knew your pet could visit you in the hospital. What a great thing-of course we had to get clearance and paperwork from the vet but I'm pretty sure she will come for a bit this weekend.
Tomorrow is going to be a busy day getting a new PICC and more pre-transplant procedures done like a renal ultrasound and full dental workup (lots of xrays, gum measurements and teeth cleaning). Mikaela is missing her big brother and vise versa so Luke is going to come up after school and hang out-maybe play some wii and iPad games or watch a movie. If Mikaela is feeling up to it, maybe we will venture down to the cafeteria for a snack-we'll see how it goes.
