Happy Christmas Eve!

Ok, so I have been sitting for quite awhile staring at my computer screen wondering how to start this little post-how do I want to remember this very moment and well a million thing are running through my mind.  I looked up, saw the twinkling lights of the Christmas tree on the bedside table beside Mikaela sleeping peacefully and felt an overwhelming calm.  The tree symbolizing Christmas, lead me to think about what that meant and in thinking about that I had a strong feeling of comfort and of knowing that we are not alone in this journey, Mikaela is in bigger hands and we are surrounded by amazing people who love us and will help us along the way.  And then, my phone rang showing a text from Luke saying he doesn't know where they are but they are in the city (hope to see them before Christmas-hey, you don't know my hubby's sense of direction)  So, I was just getting back to my deeper thoughts when in came Mikaela's super sweet and wonderful nurse with her packed RBC's.  Then mom came by with her tomtom for us to borrow this week-due to the formentioned directional skills. And then my phone rang again-What! our men folk are at the hospital.  Well, I'm thinking that's all for deep thoughts!  I am so excited to see those boys!!!  WooHoo.  I am so thankful that we will all be together for the next week making memories, telling stories and sharing laughs.  Thanks to mom for making about a million trips back and forth to the RMH to bring our tree, stockings and packages so Mikaela can wake up tomorrow with Christmas all around.  Wait there's a knock...
